‘Weightless’  by Suzie Firth – is an original 50cm round artwork layered using a range of textured painting techniques in ocean tones that move through soft aqua, seafoam, turquoise and deeper teal.

Sculpted textures sweep across the surface in gentle, tidal curves. Some sections are smooth and fluid, while others are richly raised and organic — almost reef-like — creating depth that shifts subtly with the light throughout the day.

There’s a quiet sense of movement in this piece — like looking down into water where currents overlap. Inspired by the calm that comes from standing at the shoreline.
