The artwork captures the vibrant Strelitzia, also known as the Bird of Paradise, emerging from a field of abstract, flowing lines. This striking plant — native to South Africa and belonging to the family Strelitziaceae — is admired for its unique blooms that resemble the bright plumage of tropical birds. In South Africa, it is also commonly known as the crane flower.
