Lost is an original piece of figurative work. Lost is inspired by the strength in the female form and the shape and subtleness of shadows. This was the first piece I created after suffering a stroke in 2017 and I was always intending on hanging on to it as it reminded me I still was able to paint, create and soldier on. The painting is a stretched gallery-style canvas painted with oil paints.
