Originally studying Sculpture at University, Sandra now mainly paints still life and landscape paintings in oil paint. Having always been drawn to nature, flora and fauna regularly feature in her still life paintings.
Her sculptural influences can be seen in her bold still life paintings, with strong shapes and large areas of colour. Lighting is also integral to the overall feel of the works, giving a sense of drama and accentuating the depth.
