Phillip Gasson is a master printmaker working from his studio and gallery at Stokers Siding in Northern NSW.
Phillip has lived in the lush green rolling countryside of Northern NSW for over 30 years, creating unique collagraphic prints from his studio and gallery at Stokers Siding. All materials for his plates are created from recycled and natural materials. He describes his work as visual storytelling that revolves and evolves around identity, the natural environment and what we recognise. His works are all the more inspiring having suffered and overcome a stroke in 1998 which took most of his sight. He is a prize winning printmaker nationally and finalist 2 consecutive years running in NSW Art & Design awards. Solo exhibitions include the esteemed Tweed River Gallery, Powerhouse and Dowling Centre.
