Agnes Water QLD
To be totally happy all I need is sunlight flooding my studio, the smell of oil paints and the feel of stretched linen. Technically I use only professional products and paint with the time honoured techniques for my works to last a great many decades. Basically – I just love painting.

2007 was the year I made a wonderful discovery. No longer could I only look and learn about my favourite paintings. Now I could put into practice all the art creation elements I had soaked up across the major galleries in Europe and Australia.
My world has never been the same since. Confidence followed when my works won awards and when people kept buying my paintings. Five years ago I stopped entering art shows as was totally engrossed in preparing works for my solo exhibition at a public gallery and museum. A lifelong thirst for historical facts, combined with a never ending joy in seeking the most beautiful aspects in nature, helped to develop the final stories that my oil paintings tell. Illustrators such as Rembrandt and Norman Rockwell told their stories that way and no interpretation was needed then or now. That aspect of creating pictures has had the strongest appeal for me.
So that is my story.
