Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic philosophical concept of “Wabi Sabi”, I create Limited Edition, contemporary photographic works that go beyond the service and capture the spirit of the subject.

In awe of the ever changing face of nature, studied photography at Photography Studies College, Southbank, Victoria to record these fleeting moments.
Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic philosophical concept of ‘Wabi Sabi‘, which is based on finding beauty in simple, modest, natural things, I create Limited Edition, contemporary photographic works that go beyond the surface and capture the spirit of the the subject.
My process is experimental, filled with discovery and surprise, although the outcome is entirely intentional. I let the subject matter guide me, so that each work evolves spontaneously into painterly works of movement, energy and light. I often write a ‘Haiku‘, a traditional Japanese poem consisting of three lines, to describe my works in a simple way.
I have always been fascinated with genesis and everything on this amazing planet. I explore the world with a childlike curiosity which takes me on exciting expeditions that lead to creating expressive works. I hope my works inspire others to look beyond the surface and see the beauty and mystery that lies beneath.
My works are available on archival canvas, exotic and handmade papers.
