Eva’s art education began in the 1970’s when she studied painting, photography and ceramics at Monash University (Caulfield Campus), graduating in Fine Art and Design.
A Diploma of Education from Melbourne University followed in 1978.
Through the 1980 and 1990’s, between travels in Europe, Japan and the US, Eva worked in retail management while creating much of the artwork for sale at the family’s art and craft gallery in North Brighton.
In 1998 Eva went on to establish Articall Art and Framing Gallery in New Street, Brighton.
As owner/operator from 1998 to 2014, her roles encompassed business management, art consultancy, picture framing, interior decorating, and running art workshops for groups of all ages and experience.
In 2014, after 16 years of operating from a retail space in Brighton, Articall had transitioned to trade solely as an On-line Gallery.
This change was to enable Eva to focus primarily on developing her own art practice, in addition to conducting weekly art classes.
Eva’s unique body of work includes large interiors, urban landscapes, and a variety of abstract paintings in oil paint and mixed media on linen.
