My paintings are a little bit Art Deco meets Pop Art.
I would describe my art style as a little bit Art Deco meets Pop Art, with a ‘stained glass’ look based on clean lines and blocks of colour.
I am particularly interested in architecture as a subject matter – buildings and structures with some history that are not only a reflection of their era, but also make a statement on how we value them today.
Whatever the subject, I like to take the features and angles to reshape the form into something that is both familiar and abstract, and falls somewhere between realistic and idealised.
My pieces are signed and dated on the back to not detract from the image.
