I have had many successful solo and group shows, and since late 2015 I have enjoyed success with series of paintings which distort and reimagine pop icons, such as Penguin paperback books, the Monopoly board, Uno cards and tarot cards. I enjoy taking well-known imagery and recreating them with thick paint and expressive brushwork, so that there is a dynamic between the clean design and the painterly chaos.
