Additional Information

Usually I paint nature subjects on land but this time around I have ventured under the water. It was inspired by my summer holidays and swimming in some local ponds. Swimming in beautiful clear blue fresh water you get to see a whole new world to explore and paint.

Painted on heavy weight premium cotton and stretched. I paint all my sides so that the picture continues around the edge of the canvas this gives it a completed look. I do not leave my sides white. The painting is finished with coats of gloss varnish which will protect the painting and also enhanced the vibrancy of the colours. I hang a brass wire across the back which is attached to Brass D-Rings that are attached within the inside of the wood frame. I prefer this method as it makes the painting sit totally flush against your wall. If you would prefer a different hanging method please email me before purchasing to discuss. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.
