Additional Information

This work is from a series of paintings and drawings of the wetlands of Urunga NSW. The reflective light  is the focal point of this mainly ink drawing, creating dramatic vertical patterns in the surrounding lake. Its hard to believe this area was once a heavy metals processing plant but now with a multi million dollar grant from the government and a mining company of all things, it has been reclaimed and brought back to life to make a home for hundreds of migrating water birds.

The landscape has been drawn and painted with ink, pastel, charcoal on hand made Indian Cotton paper with a beautiful thatched grain which compliments the graphic nature of the subject.
