Additional Information

This large statement painting of a Wattlebird perched amongst some Monstera Deliciosa in a fresh palette of blush pinks and Navy blues would make a wonderful edition to your Australian home.

The closest colour match for the pink is Pantone 692 (if you have a swatch book handy) Otherwise you can just trust me when I tell you it’s a gorgeous shade of blush pink that is more sophisticated and less magenta than baby pink. (More like the colour of leather ballet shoes than strawberry milkshake). I mix large batches of this colour to use as a ground for my oil paintings, it’s one of my favourites, especially when combined with deep navy blue and charcoal hues.

My work is inspired by the backyard birds and plants from my inner city neighbourhood. This painting is of a similar theme to my signature works on paper with a play on scale, and focus on colour and composition.

Custom stretched Italian fine weave canvas with thick sides that have been painted so that you can hang without framing.
