Additional Information

The process of creating my art and sharing it with the world is one which fascinates, enthrals, and frustrates me. Sometimes it is easy and carefree – the inspiration flows freely, my paintings almost seem to paint themselves, and I feel proud and excited to share my finished works with people. Other times though, I feel fear and trepidation in the creative process and in putting myself and my work out there. It’s a constant balancing act between the two ends of the scale, between pushing myself forward and pulling myself back. It’s these experiences and emotions that I endeavoured to capture here on canvas through the use of colour, brushstrokes, and movement.

Original abstract painting on triple-primed 380gsm 100% cotton canvas stretched over 3.8cm kiln-dried high density fir timber stretcher bars. This painting comes with the sides of the canvas painted in the same colours as the remainder of the artwork, fully varnished, ready to hang with quality d-rings and wire fittings attached at the back.
