Additional Information

My grandma was a prolific and passionate gardener, and a small square of the garden was always put aside for us to grow vegetables and herbs. There is a special type of joy of getting dirt under your fingernails and watching something prized grow in your own backyard. Even the horrible smell of the blood and bone that used to get spread around liberally was cause for a kind of sadistic delight. As an adult I live in a drought-prone area, and the intermittent total watering bans are not always conducive to growing food in our own backyard, but luckily my children are just as pleased with flowers, and there are many hardy varieties to choose from.

Unframed limited edition digital print from an original scraperboard artwork by Joanne Stead. Individually numbered and signed by the artist, only 50 prints will be made available. Printed on a quality, textured 250gsm card with a beautiful felt-like finish.  43cm (H) x 31.5cm (W).
