Additional Information

The Children Series of collagraph prints by Phillip Gasson were created following travels in Afghanistan, developed and influenced by the children. After the US became involved food parcels were dropped for children to collect. Land mines were the same colour. Thousands of dollars were spent on prosthetics for soldiers, meanwhile in villages children and families could be found whittling from wood their own prosthetics.

Each print is a one off, no two prints are ever exactly alike. Hand inked and printed using archival inks on Hahnemuhle heavy off white paper. Maximum edition 10. Signed and numbered. Shipped rolled in a tube.

Image shown does not do justice to the quality of the actual print, difficult to photograph to fully reveal the fine detail. Dimensions include the size of the frame. This series of colographic prints were made from recycled cardboard. The printing plates are layered with cardboard and glue, then inked and printed. There are many more available in this series please contact help@artloversaustralia.com.au for further enquiries.
