Additional Information

The Blacksmith is a figurative charcoal drawing on heavy cartridge paper, framed portrait orientation under glass in a black frame. As a child, when walking home from school, a stop at the local blacksmith was a favourite event. I have very fond memories of blacksmiths. Lance is a volunteer at the Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum, and he frequently demonstrates his blacksmith skills. This image is of Lance demonstrating at a recent event at the Village. All my life I have loved drawing, and my favourite medium for this is charcoal.
