Sunday Afternoon Stroll

An original abstract painting, created by a Cartographer with 30+ years of mapping experience.

Mapping Melbourne is a project I am currently working on and I have always shown an interest in driving and freeway driving is so enjoyable. This piece was inspired by several walks along the Yarra at Birrarung Marr. On the many times I have visited this area there were festivals and food trucks. I always relate this location to colour and energy.

The map is oriented to North and approximately to scale.

The side of the wooden panel is unpainted. Several coats to achieve a quality matt finish. Signed on the front and authenticated on the back.
