Yangon formerly know as Rangoon during British rule is a busy Asian city in the process of modernisation after 50 years of military rule. Walking the backstreets in downtown Yangon reveals many different lifestyles. Families are busy running their shops, while children are always nearby playing or interacting with peers. Every corner reveals a different face of city life and this portrait of a Burmese child playing with his toy is one of them. The portrait is one of a series of two.
