“Lilies” is inspired by Monet and is part of a series of this style of works, which many are sold. This painting is lovingly created through layers of work using only oil paints on gallery quality canvas, solid pine timber frames – wrapped painted white edges, Ready to hang. This is one of my favourite styles and I feel very peaceful when painting one like this.
Unlike my other work, this one does not have sand texture. The texture simply comes from the layers of oil paints, thick textured layers to create a mesmerising peaceful painting. Most of my work is a layering technique until I am totally satisfied with the balance and harmony of the chosen colours. There are colours under colours which come together with the merging of the top layers. This piece has little snippets of oil pastel which draws you eye to various interesting lines all over the work. It is a standout piece which will keep you and your family/friends immersed for many years.
Let me introduce myself. I’m Belinda Nadwie
When I’m not covered in paint, I’m busy being a mother to my three children, Summer, (6), Alice (5) and George (2). With my doting husband our lives are a ball of FUN (and mess)!
But how great is L A U G H T E R ? Truly the best medicine, especially when it involves tickly bits!
I drink multiple cups of tea a day,
I also love C O F F E E, although I restrict myself to ONE a day ☹ (okay sometimes I sneak two)
My family is amazingly supportive and always here at a moments notice.
WHAT BRINGS ME HERE, YOU ASK?
MY A R T ☺
I am taking myself seriously as strangely, I seem to have more time to do so these days.
Ever since I was little (5 years old) I have sold my paintings. It began on Sorrento Beach on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula where I grew up. I used to paint scenes on shells and walk up and down the beach selling them to unsuspecting tourists.
As an adult, I have now sold hundreds of original paintings globally by commissioning pieces for collectors or working with Interior Designers, via word of mouth from happy customers and also via the internet.
If you keep watch, there will be many more paintings to come as this is what I do on a daily basis, whilst raising my darling family.

I hope my work brings you as much happiness as it does me.
