Where the desert meets the sea……………..
“Gnaraloo has important foraging, mating, nesting and resting areas for nationally threatened sea turtles and migratory birds, located at the southern end of the Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area. It borders an inland wetland of international significance. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) added the Ningaloo Reef to its World Heritage list, stating that its ʽlush and colourful underwater scenery provides a stark and spectacular contrast with the arid and rugged landʼ.”

Quote taken from the Gnaraloo Wilderness Foundation.

This oil painting I hope captures the beautiful wandering waterways of the Lake MacLeod area in Western Australia.  The beautiful blue and aqua water areas are encircleded by blinding white salt crystals which glisten in the sunlight and the amazing pinks and oranges of the dry land tinted by the salt to these subtle shades.

As with all of my works, it is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the production of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared support for my oil paintings and both use artist pigments.
All pieces are available framed if you would like, please get in touch. My framer has promised me a particularly fast turnaround as long as the frames and matts are in stock, so add another one to two days for delivery (additional cost for framing will apply – please ask for a quote).
The piece will arrive wrapped well in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I like to recycle), any glass will be taped to help prevent cracking, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
