Additional Information

Just imagine looking out of your window at sunrise and seeing this wonderful view of an Australian lake! Well I did just that…I imagined doing so when I created this painting.

I love the monochromatic palette and the stillness of the landscape with the contrast that I achieved by the birds in flight. I did a gentle wash over the glass in the windows which made the birds beyond the glass slightly lighter than those in the open area of this painting. A small but I believe, an important feature of this image.

Inspiration for this   painting comes from a photograph taken at sunrise by Anne Bolton (with her permission). Anne is a talented photographer from the West Wyalong area.

This painting is signed on the front and a laminated, numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included.

PLEASE NOTE: In the photos, where the painting is shown mounted on a wall, these are purely for illustrative purposes. You should review the dimension of the artwork to be sure the work suits your needs.
