Additional Information

This work explores my own childhood experiences of growing up in a small country town near the Warrumbungle National Park. Sitting around campfires, riding down dirt roads and climbing trees to pick mulberries in my back yard opened my eyes to the beauty in nature. The symbolism of lace used in this work is indicative of the fragility not only found in nature but also my own feelings of being a freckly fair skinned young girl growing up in a harsh sunburnt country.
