Additional Information

Koi at Feeding Time is an ORIGINAL contemporary exotic fish watercolour. Koi are one of my favourite painting subjects. I have painted and sold many Koi paintings in watercolour as well as in oil and oil pastel.

I like to associate the Koi with a particular activity, and fish live to eat. Apart from painting the Koi, I love inventing the environment in which they are swimming. In this painting the lotus leaves and other aquatic plants really stimulate the eye and create movement in the painting. Sadly, Koi cannot be kept as pets in Melbourne, so I surround myself with Koi paintings instead. There are very relaxing to view. The painting is on quality Winsor and Newton Watercolour Paper and I have used the finest Daniel Smith Archival Artists’ Watercolours. The painting is protected with a special archival UV spray which will not allow the precious colours to fade.

Koi at Feeding Time is UNFRAMED.

The 32X22cm (A3) paper size means the purchaser can easily obtain a quality ready made mat and glassed frame. This cuts postage and framing costs considerably. The painting in a one off ORIGINAL, signed by the artist. If required, I am happy to frame, mat and ready to hang.

Quality materials – using Daniel Smith Archival Watercolours. The painting is also protected from any fading by use of UV spray.
