Additional Information

Flush with beautiful sunny yellows, golden wattle is little balls of furry sunshine. A zing against a calm blue environment that exudes a cool charm.

Building upon traditional gouache painting, this piece has been machine embroidered using a freehand style with my sewing machine to stitch in the details we miss.  It explores the beauty in the suburban landscape and highlights the delicate and vibrant nature of one of our most common native flowers.

The artwork has been deliberately created to blur the line between a painting and textile and as such has ragged edges.

This artwork is available for sale unframed. It will need to be framed to be displayed and it is recommended that you have it float mounted to show it at its best. If you’d like assistance with this please send Art Lovers Australia an enquiry. Pricing starts at $300 and it will take an additional 3-4 weeks for delivery.
