Additional Information

Enshrine is a large sized work in landscape  format, painted in acrylic on deep sided stretched cotton duck. The painting features gum trees along a section of the Lachlan River in Forbes NSW.  This work is unframed, with raw, clean canvas sides, but is ready to hang on deep sided canvas. The colours feature warm blues with turquoise, yellow and brown ochres.

The inspiration for this painting came from the many times I have spent along the Lachlan River in Forbes. I love painting the environment, particularly the central west of NSW where I live. And I especially love painting water, which is such a precious commodity in Australia. I have endeavoured to capture movement and flow in this painting and portray the precious nature of water in nature.

The painting style is broad, loose brush strokes overlaying colour to create a sense of movement and freedom.
