Additional Information

My latest Red Tailed Black Cockatoo, these are my most popular subjects with 5 originals flying off to collectors in the last few months. – The stark white background continues around the edges for a clean ready to hang look. Framing is not necessary unless desired (i do recommend a black float frame for this piece as it does finish the work off nicely) – a custom float frame is available for this piece in Matt black for an additional cost of $170.

After devoting 2018 to developing my skills at the Brisbane Institute of Art, i am approaching my work with a renewed vigour and an abundance of inspiration. My recent work consists of deconstructed endangered exotic species and Australian wildlife. I use a combination of high detail in the eyes and face of the subject, which progressively diminishes into wide brush strokes and working sketch marks revealing the carefully selected botanical fabric underlay . all works are signed on the front and unique wax signature sealed on the reverse side. This piece has been displayed in Revival Art Gallery in Brisbane.
