Additional Information

This spring I have been painting flowers as they bloom in a farmyard garden. As drought surrounds, it is a meditative experience to wrap yourself up with colour and heirloom fragrance.

This painting was inspired by the quince tree and native callistemon blooms, which rarely sees water. As the day unfolded, a spring heat wave challenged the chickens to move under the painting.

Original artwork and ready to hang. This painting would suit a child’s room, bathroom or sunroom.

My work is thick impasto oil and beeswax with gallery stretched canvas. I usually and prefer to paint plein air.
