CHATEAU

Resin Art Painting by Deborah O’Loughlin

60cm in diameter

Epoxy Resin and Mixed Media on round MDF board in the beautiful satin black frame with silver pyramid side detail. Signed on the back by the artist.

Chateau has been abstractly painted in multiple layers for extra depth and you can see gorgeous patterns through the layers.

She is black, white, purple and turquoise and finished with shimmering silver sparkle.

‘Chateau’ is one of my most favourite songs by Angus and Julia Stone which is about a couple reminiscing the past and i’ve been listening to it a lot lately. There are sections in this painting where different patterns of the initial layer can be seen through transparent resin. These are areas of wonder and intrigue and remind me of reminiscing of the past, hence the perfect name for this artwork.
