Painted from a photo of a spiny cheeked honeyeater by R.Faulkner, Moonbi NSW.

The honeyeaters come to the grevillea outside my loungeroom window each day, a number of different types, but I can never get a good photo, they are quick and not bold enough to hang around when they see me approaching the window. But Bob captured a beauty. A telephoto lens is the key I believe. I loved painting this handsome fellow.
