The words in this piece are the inscribing from a year in the life of my love. The crossing out, the notations and the remembering, the past that intrudes on our present. The leaves come from the trees of my life, the closeness that I feel to nature, the pull of a place. Here the two collide in the push and pull of life. His words, my words, our desires. The colours used are mostly transparent which really makes the colours become very vibrant. The surface has been covered with a protective layer of acrylic sealer which has enhanced the beautiful, rich colour.
The sides are painted in a wrap around style which makes framing optional. Ready to hang.
