Additional Information

Yes but why by Lana Alsamir-Diamond – Love the wonderful “Terre Verte” green in this work and how it works with my other obsession “Prussian Blue”.

The titles of Alsamir-Diamond’s works are sometimes influenced by feelings that the artist has experienced when the work was created, or certain moments that happened at the same time or they may sometimes, evoke a feeling after their completion, sometimes it is literal and sometimes it is not.

Moons are a constant in my work, if you have ever watched the moon as religiously as I do, you would know that the moon has so many faces, my fascination started when I used it as a constant presence in my more figurative works, and I slowly became fascinated by the shape and the possibilities it offered to my work, it grew from a representation of the moon to a recurring motif in my work.

Ink, Acrylic and Gouache on hand made, natural colour, deckled edge cotton paper.

In situ images are for display purposes and may not be a true representation of size listed.
