Working Study for Green Tree Frog by Susanne Bianchi.

This small piece of art was my working study for a commission.  My client loves Tree Frogs and she wanted a large painting of them for her living room.

I myself must admit that I have a love of little green tree frogs. As a child, I can remember the wonderment and joy I felt whenever I came across a small tree frog in the garden.  This fascination with tree frogs has continued into adulthood. However it has been many years since I have experienced the joy of discovering a small tree frog in my own garden.

My client was very happy with her large commissioned piece and if you too are a frog lover, this small working study would make a lovely piece of art in a corner of your home.

I  often paint frogs as a reminder to us that we must do what we can to protect our endangered species by reducing our use of pesticides, stopping the clearing of wildlife habit and taking action to preserve their fragile environment.

The work is done in acrylic paint on watercolour paper. The piece is unframed and is signed on the back.
