Additional Information

Whitehaven The Whitsundays by Kit McNeill – Oil Paint on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed with a certificate of authenticity. This painting is painted with Artist quality Windsor and Newton on a beautiful piece of Belgium Linen and has been professionally stretched.

Many photos are to be seen on various tourist publications of this Iconic attraction Whitehaven. This painting was however painted from one of my dear sisters Veronica photos. Many years ago she and her husband flew over this beautiful vista. I have always had in mind that one day I would paint it.

So in this troubling time with Coid 19 and for various reasons my husband and I have been in isolation since early February I decided it was time to tackle this rather daunting undertaking.

This painting was started the beginning of March, I would have to say this has been one of the most challenging paintings I have ever attempted and today 3/5/20 it is finished.
