Wednesday’s Fallen Leaves by Olga Megele
Watercolour allows me to slow down and really look deeply at the objects I’m drawing. This ‘slowing down’ is part of my embracing deep observation and reflection in my life.

The leaf drawings are titled according to the symbolic days of the week on which I discovered them while walking. These ‘Messages of Nature’ revealed themselves on my well-trodden path which has become a daily meditation. Taking the leaves back to the studio and marvelling at the exquisite colours and patterns have become an obsession. I look for these remarkable pieces of nature wherever I go, collecting them and storing them for later use. Wednesday’s Fallen Leaf by Olga Megele.
