Additional Information

We have Buried So Much of the Delicate Magic of Life by Lucinda Leveille is a floral inspired watercolour piece on Saunders paper. The quote is from DH lawrence.

I always seem to be drawn back to flowers in the landscape when I pick up my watercolours, I love to experiment with the colours and layer them one on top of the other.    I am really enjoying working with this garden series of paintings – the colours and vibrancy of gardens are a lovely feeling when we are in winter and at the moment lockdown!  The delicate linework reminds us how fragile how flora can be.

As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both are painted using artist quality pigments.

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
