This piece is part of a new series of ‘Quiet Reflection’ series. Please see my other works in this series.

These pieces speak of my love of the water and its calming effects. I wanted to take back the layers and just represent the ‘water’ on the canvas. I worked with the white background, the beautiful and mesmerising Payne’s Grey (blue/grey paint colour I love so much, the darker blue on these works) and the uplifting Ultra Marine. The Payne’s Grey brings a beautiful depth to the painting and the Ultra Marine the energy!

These paintings have a Zen quality about them that I love, a Japanese calm. Perfect for this crazy year we’re having to bring a bit of calm and nature into your home! There’s something special about holding a little painting in your hands, connecting you with it.
