The original piece was painted in acrylic on heavy duty Arches Paper as a Study in Turquoise and Raw Umber.
“If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water,” wrote the anthropologist Loren Eisely. Water is one of the most important substances on earth. All plants and animals must have water to survive. If there was no water there would be no life on earth.
To me the magic in water is watching it sparkle in the sunlight, it dances with life and brings joy and fascination to whoever sits and watches it.
It is nearly impossible to portray the beauty, life and effervescence of water in paint but I will keep trying.
This print is available as a ‘variable size’ limited edition run of 10.
Spheres can be printed as a large stretched canvas in a choice of two sizes .
They are signed and numbered by the artist on back and come with a Certificate of Authenticity
