“Vases, jars, flowers and shells” by size, is a strong, statement artwork. It is actually a BIG favourite of mine, as it is a true combination of everything I love – tulips, roses, waterlilies, orchids, mini bouquet of tiny flowers, my collecting shells; and the blue and white vase has been in my family for 30 plus years. Even though there are glass vases in the foreground, I have given the blue and white vase importance by the use of colour and semi centring it within the composition. Coastal living is regularly seen in my work as suggested here with the shapes of fish, starfish (on the centred vase) and the collection of shells and jars. This work is for those of you who loves flowers and living by the sea.

The aim is to create and celebrate an image; using lots of energy and luscious colours, so you can visually share my passion and optimism. Perfect to transform and uplift a room in your home or office.

The canvas is professional artist grade with the following:

  • Wright & Co Canvas 12oz poly cotton
  • 3 coats of Titanium White Acrylic Primed Gesso
  • Stretcher Bars 35mm deep
  • 18x55mm corner and centre bracing
  • Gallery stretched for painting on the canvas edge
  • Double stapled on the back of the stretcher

The paint I use is also professional artist quality and the artwork is protected with Art Spectrum Gloss Varnish. On back of painting the D-hooks and hanging cord are fixed, so artwork is ready to hang straight on your wall.
