The piece continues to explore the solitary image in the landscape and the emotions that this evokes. This painting is a little retro for me. It is an oil piece on composite board, inspired by all the terrible times that the farmers are struggling with, to simply survive. I have been so moved by the constant battle that these incredibly resilient people keep fighting, in such a vast and unforgiving landscape.
The painting is on composite board, a surface I like to work with, although much more difficult than canvas.
As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both painted using artist pigments.
This piece is framed with an Italian imported frame, in black with a small gold filigree insert.
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I like to recycle), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
