Additional Information

The Sky, A Perfect Empty Canvas by Lucinda Leveille is another in the series of the solitary image in the landscape. The full quote is “The sky, a perfect empty canvas, offers clouds nonetheless.  They shift and drift and beg interpretation …. such is the nature of art” – Jeb Dickerson.

This piece is a return to the deep, dark blue skies and the vast Australian landscape.  This time there is the idea of a working property with the inclusion of a small windmill and shelter in the far distance – the isolated and solitary existence of those working this land is awe inspiring.

As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both are painted using artist quality pigments.
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
