The Children Series of collagraph prints by Phillip Gasson were created following travels in Afghanistan, developed and influenced by the children. After the US became involved food parcels were dropped for children to collect. Land mines were the same colour. Thousands of dollars were spent on prosthetics for soldiers, meanwhile in villages children and families could be found whittling from wood their own prosthetics.

Each print is a one off, no two prints are ever exactly alike. Hand inked and printed using archival inks on Hahnemuhle heavy off white paper. Maximum edition 25. Signed and numbered. Shipped rolled in a tube.

This series of calligraphic prints were made from recycled cardboard. The printing plates are layered with cardboard and glue, then inked and printed.
