Sunday lunch in the Dandenongs Limited Edition print by Debra Dickson – The original painting won 1st prize in Sherbrooke art gallery, covid exhibition. April 2021 and has since been sold.
Every so often I start a painting with no real direction in mind and this is one of them. So I started with a background and just allowed it to evolve itself from there. I knew there would be birds, I didnt decide what sort of birds until I was painting in the leaves and the flowers, With all the lorikeets around home at the moment feeding on the flowering gums it just seemed like the natural choice. This painting is full of super fine detail and took 6 weeks to complete, so please take a look at the enlarged close up photos
This print is slightly smaller than the original painting but still gives the wow factor and the life size proportions of the lorikeets and is printed on 310 gsm cotton rag paper
Limited Edition of 100, signed and numbered by myself. Also comes with a certificate of authenticity signed and numbered.
Print size is 108.5 x 91 cm ,
Surface area is 112.5 x 96 cm with border.

Also available in other sizes upon request.
The print will be rolled in acid free paper and sent in a mailing tube
