These delightful little bits of froth travelled magically onto the paper. One Saturday afternoon they somehow just appeared sitting on top of layers of lovely green, yellows and violet watercolour. When the wind blows the flowers are literally blown away, I hope that I captured the fragility of these little blossoms. The painting is UNFRAMED and painted on a beautiful piece of heavy watercolour paper, with all four sides having deckled edges, where when framed you may choose to show these edges or not.
If you love this piece but it doesn’t quite suit your space, I would be delighted to work with you to produce an artwork that will work for you and your home, I enjoy commissions and it’s always great to know that this is something uniquely yours.
As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both are painted using artist pigments.
The artworks on gallery style stretched canvas, do not require framing and are ready to hang, however, a box frame on this style of canvas can dress the painting really well.
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I like to recycle), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
