Spring Joys by Lucinda Leveille is an oil piece on a gallery style support.
I decided to try and use oils in a similar botanical/landscape theme and style as when I paint in watercolour.
I am just so excited about this new body of work, immersing myself in the garden, full of flowers and wonderful vibrant colours. The smells of the blooms and beautiful feel of simply being in a little sunshine and surrounded by nature is just so uplifting. This is a companion piece to Spring Delights, I guess I had another green garden in me that had to be painted!
I simply adore working with these great colours. What a great way to brighten any room the whole year through -I find I’m always smiling when I paint these pieces.
If you love this piece but it doesn’t quite suit your space, I would be delighted to work with you to produce an artwork that will work for you and your home, I enjoy commissions and it’s always great to know that this is something uniquely yours.
As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
Each artwork is signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both are painted using artist pigments.
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled (I like to recycle), it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
