I absolutely adore banksia pods, I have so many amazing photos of them from my travels and back home here in Melbourne. How fascinating are they? Often bunched together and appearing to have human like presence , thousands of eyes looking at you, some hairy and some with many beautiful bumps and lumps ,all different , I say eyes but in some cases they could be a plethora of mouths, singing chatting, shouting , swinging in the wind, often looking out over the most beautiful parts of the country. I imagine this one dancing in the wind and beckoning for the rest to dance with them . The colours are mine of course, bright and vibrant to match the personalities that can be found everywhere we look.
This painting will of course brighten up any room , a talking point of course as all those that view it will have new ideas of what it is saying, or singing!
This is the first in this series with another to follow.
