Additional Information

Shallow crossing is an original watercolour painting by Anica Amphlett of a cow crossing shallow waters. Painted using quality artists’ paints on Saunders Waterford 300gsm rough paper, 37cm x 27cm.

This painting is fully framed under glass in a black timber grain frame,  with a double ivory acid-free mount, MDF backing and is ready to hang on your wall.
A certificate of authenticity is attached to the back and the external frame dimensions are 53cm x 43cm x 2cm. I was captivated by the somewhat murky but equally as interesting colours of the water and the sheen of the cow on a mission to get to the other side! Farmers, on the other hand, have lots to think about when caring for their cattle. It’s amazing how something as simple as a cow crossing a waterway raises new questions and concerns for farmers as they try and figure out the best way for their cattle to do this safely.

I love to paint all things to do with nature with a special love for animals.
