Safe in the shallows now – an underwater abstract by Alanah Jarvis – We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or watch, – we are going back to whence we once came. – John F. Kennedy.
One of my most favorite thing to do underwater, whether in the shallows at the beach, a jump from a boat or a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef, is to duck dive and run my fingers through the rippling sand. There’s no better way to clear your mind and let your thoughts breathe then being underwater.

This oil painting is on premium canvas with painted edges to create a faux frame.
