Boats and ropes on the wharf go together nicely and when they look just a little bit rustic they seem to evoke a feeling of many tales. This particular wharf was on the NSW coast, which gave up its charms, I was visiting my sister near Woolongong. I have used acrylic on canvas, and tried to get the rust and rope to look a bit frayed with wear
Voyages along jetties and wharves, and old boat scenes are an endless joy I must partake of. This painting is “perfect for pride of place in the beach house”
