Additional Information

My absolute favourite flower to paint is Queen Anne’s Lace, it usually comes in a small white flower in groups or little bunches. It’s fun to paint as it peeps out of the overgrown gardens to say hello. This rendering is also in some of my favourite colours – the deep turquoises, purples and blue greens that are so full of the promise of Spring.
This is the paper that is so heavy it can stand up on its own – very exciting and exacting to work with – you have to accommodate the paper ! As it is handmade it is quite random in size and not one side is straight, but has interesting texture and edges – when framing I would consider leaving the edges exposed to show off their great uniqueness !
As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both are painted using artist quality pigments.
All pieces are available framed if you would like, please get in touch. My framer has promised me a particularly fast turnaround as long as the frames and matts are in stock, so add another one to two days for delivery (additional cost for framing will apply of course but please ask for a quote).
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
